Danny Vinik graduated from Duke University in May 2013 with majors in Economics and Public Policy. He’s currently a staff reporter for The New Republic. Originally from Boston, Danny is a politics and policy nerd. He is particularly interested in economic policy, monetary policy and intellectual property law. He’s a big Boston sports and Duke basketball fan. During college, he wrote for The Chronicle, Duke’s student newspaper, and contributed to The Chronicle Sports blog with various posts. He interned for The Washington Monthly during the summer of 2012 and was a political reporter for Business Insider in 2013 up until February 2014.
